The fight over cell phone towers close to Naples homes is often times inconsistent. The majority want fewer dropped calls with even better cell phone coverage. On the other hand, most communities hope to keep cell towers out of their neighborhoods. Towers are unattractive and might even lower property worth. To work properly, a cell tower must be in sight. Above the tree lines, an unattractive, massive piece of steel must be installed. This is OK for a downtown setting, but does not fit well into a neighborhood layout.

To combat this, companies started putting towers in that look like trees. Although, a steel tree hardly tricks anyone. Cell phone companies have to be sensitive and open when discussing towers with neighborhoods. Naples residents must remember that it is possible to win a battle against cell phone companies. Both sides can get what they want when they go into the situation with a team mentality.

It might be hard to buy the Naples home of your dreams without decent credit. Falling victim to identity theft is going to spoil your plan to make any type of big purchase, even if you have always had great credit. To guard your identity as well as your credit, there are a lot of things you can do.

Begin by phasing out your Social Security number as a password or Identification number. Never use your birth date, address, or phone number for any type of password . Securely lock up or memorize passwords. Don't store them in your purse, wallet, or electronic organizer.

Only write the last four digits of your account on a check when paying credit card bills. Your account can still be opened with only the last four digits.

Above all, be careful when giving out your personal information. If something appears too good to be true, it probably is. Trust your instincts so you are able to get the loan for a Naples home .

Toll Brother's is "well prepared" to deal with such a situation. There are still plenty of great Naples homes on the market, so there's no need to frett.

Becoming a victim of identity theft might influence your chance of completing a Naples real estate transaction. As Congress investigates email phishing scams, they may implement initiatives to combat identity theft.

Phishing occurs when an individual or group makes an attempt to get delicate data, deceptively, by pretending to be a creditable establishment, such as Amazon.com or a large bank. Watching for email that sounds phony is extremely important. If in doubt, report all email that you think is a scam.

Interior design has shifted to dark from light. Many Naples homeowners opt for shades of black, brown, and grey rather than pale woods. Darker hues can be found on everything, from cabinets to faucets. To so many, these darker colors provide a comforting ambiance and balance the daily stresses of life.

The drawback to dark decorating is that like any fad, it will pass. The forest greens of the 80s and pink bathtubs from the 60s definitely date a room. Although, your Naples home could be transformed from conventional to warm and cozy, if done correctly.

Summer is in full bloom. With heat waves circulating across most of the United States, power to run the AC has become scarce. If your Naples home is without AC, there are numerous things you can do to cool off.

Keep something frozen in your hand for as long as possible . This will cool down your body for up to an hour and will lower your temperature by as much as 3 degrees F. If it begins to hurt, stop. Even if you aren't thirsty, drink plenty of H2O. You must compensate for all of the fluids lost from perspiration. If you have to go outdoors, cover up with airy, loose-fitting clothing, but if possible, avoid direct sunlight.

Turn off all the lights and all other heat sources, such as the TV. Take a cool shower or bath, making sure to wet your hair. Place a wet towel behind your neck, on your forehead, on the inside of your wrists and elbows, and on the backs of your knees. These points will naturally cool the rest of your body down.

Go to the movies, mall, or other air-conditioned place if all else fails. Humans have lived for thousands of years without AC. Roughing it for a few days should not be that hard.

There are several things you can do in your Naples home to reduce the electricity bill. With lamps that are turned on for longer than two hours a day, you can change to compact fluorescent bulbs. Fluorescent bulbs are 6-8 times more energy efficient than conventional bulbs and will last 10-20 times longer.

Unplug equipment such as coffee makers or oscillating fans when they are not in use. Even if they are not turned on, they will still use up some power. Use an energy efficient microwave or toaster over when cooking smaller items that do not need to be pre-heated.

Change your computer off or on to "standby" mode when you finish use. By using a laptop, you can drop the costs of operating a computer by 85 percent. Turn your refrigerator to 38-40 degrees Fahrenheit and don't open the door very often or for very long.

If your Naples home stays on the market, you really should bring in the experts. A good way to make a noteworthy first impression on potential buyers is to stage your house. Staging merely means rearranging or taking out furniture to create a tasteful look. An extra cost is unappealing, but staging will pay for itself.

Generally, a staged home usually stays on the market for 1.5 months less than its non-staged counterpart will. The owner will need to be as separated as possible to sell a house since staging is all about depersonalization. When a potential buyer can imagine themselves in your Naples home , you have success.

Any piece of Naples real estate can be affected by mold. A new report revealed that building quality may be among the main components of mold growth, not weather and humidity.

Strict energy regulations control the construction of today's buildings. When moisture becomes stuck inside the walls of a building, the greenhouse effect is created. Ongoing inspections on the roof, drainage, and structure will help you maintain mold infestation.

Prices may add up, but ultimately, it will be a lot cheaper than fixing a giant mold problem. Furthermore, when the time comes to sell your Naples home , a mold problem could cost you the sale.
