There are a couple of things that could have an affect the sale of your Naples home . The deal breaker should not be fleas, termites, or bugs. Before you put your home up for sale, bring in an exterminator. Make sure all indications of bugs are gone before a potential buyer even comes into your house.

If you have animals, take preventative steps to ensure that fleas will not be problematic. Administer flea medicine and use a fogger to kill any surviving fleas. If possible, keep Fido outdoors until your home is sold. You are going to save time and money down the road by taking care of these steps now.

There is a brand new trend in buying Naples real estate . Young singles, more specifically women, account for the majority of new homeowners. In fact, there has been a 6 percent increase in female homeowners between 2001 and 2005.

Affordability, a closeness to entertainment and nightlife, and safe neighborhoods are what most young singles are looking for. Even more of the buying market consists of recent immigrants and minorities. Some are buying condos to build equity so that they can purchase a larger home down the road. Finally, retirees and empty-nesters are downsizing and moving to active adult communities. They are through with big houses and would rather live in smaller homes, near friends and entertainment.
